Northern Frontier Conference League (NFCL)

Featuring the Northern Frontier Conference and Premier I Divisions, the Frontier Conference League is one of 13 USYS National League Conferences geographically focused to provide high-level, team-based, regional league competition at a targeted local level. Teams across the country must earn their way into the USYS National League Conferences through success in the top division of state-level leagues and/or through qualifying competitions organized by each US Youth Soccer State Association — ensuring the top teams from each state have access to the National League Conferences. The Northern Frontier Conference operates on a multi-state level (Arkansas & Oklahoma), with the winner of each Northern Frontier Conference age group earning automatic promotion to the Premier I Division of the Frontier Conference of the USYS National League for the following season.

OVERVIEW

The Northern Frontier Conference is managed by the US Youth Soccer National League and consists of U13-U19 teams primarily from Oklahoma and Arkansas. Matches are played at conference-hosted festival-style weekends across the Frontier Conference region throughout the seasonal year. Top teams in the Northern Frontier Conference Qualifier will be promoted to the Premier I Division of the Frontier Conference of the USYS National League the following seasonal year and the top two teams in the Premier I Division will qualify to participate in National League P.R.O. the following seasonal year. National League P.R.O. is for U14-U19 teams, all of whom qualified for National League P.R.O. by finishing at the top of the league table in conference play. The National League offers additional exposure to collegiate, professional and U.S. National Team coaches. Matches in the National League P.R.O. competition are hosted and organized by US Youth Soccer.

TRAINING FORMAT

Northern Frontier Conference League participants ages U13-U19 will attend two training sessions per week.

FEE STRUCUTURE

The Competitive Program fee structure is an “all-inclusive” model, which allows Sporting Oklahoma to create cost savings for its members, develop a professional-level platform and provide a more convenient way for its members to pay. Some parents may be more familiar with a fee structure in which players pay monthly training dues separate of tournament, showcase, league or other fees; however, under our all-inclusive player fee model, players will pay a registration fee after accepting a roster spot with the remaining balance payable in annual, bi-annual or monthly installments with no further financial obligation to the club. Teams will be allowed to participate in events outside of those included in the fee structure; however, players will be responsible for their proportionate share of any costs incurred by the team for any such event.

The annual player fee outlined above includes participation in the Northern Frontier Conference League and Oklahoma Premier League, as well as the tournament and/or showcase events detailed above and our Goalkeeping Program (U11-U19). The annual player fee does not include the cost of coach travel expenses, competitive player kits, player travel expenses or team fees associated with field rental and usage.
