Oklahoma Premier League (OPL)
The Oklahoma Premier League (OPL) is a fully sanctioned United States Youth Soccer competitive state-level league managed by Oklahoma Soccer Association. OPL is the most competitive Oklahoma Soccer Association league providing a high-level of play between top teams across the state of Oklahoma. OPL aids in developing competitive youth soccer players in Oklahoma and serves as the league determining the eligibility of participating teams and seeding for other Oklahoma Soccer Association competitions such as Frontier Conference League play, State Cup and President's Cup competitions.
OVERVIEW
Competitive Program participants ages U11 - U19 will have the opportunity to compete in the Oklahoma Premier League (OPL). This state-wide league consists of four divisions: Super Premier, OPL 1, OPL 2 and OPL 3. The top and bottom two teams in each division are subject to promotion and relegation.
TRAINING FORMAT
Competitive Program participants ages U11-U19 competing in the OPL will attend two training sessions per week with an optional third weekly session available for U11-U12 participants, at no additional cost, through the Skills Clinics Program designed for players who wish to further develop their existing skillset through an age-appropriate progressive model of training focused on ball mastery, control, passing, receiving, dribbling, shooting and juggling.
FEE STRUCTURE
The Annual Player Fee below includes participation in the
Sporting Oklahoma Competitive Program (U11-U19),
Goalkeeping Program (U11-U19), and
Skills Clinics Program (U11-U12). The Annual Player Fee covers monthly training dues and other administrative expenses such as player registration and insurance. The Annual Player Fee
does not include each player’s proportionate share of team-specific expenses such as tournament and league fees, field maintenance and usage fees, and coach travel expenses for matches outside of the Oklahoma City Metro Area, nor does it include player-specific expenses such as kits, equipment, and travel.
